Troubleshooting the Teleprompter App

Overview

Quick fixes for common issues in Teleprompter by Social Cascade. For sign-in problems, also read Logging In with Email and a One-Time Code.

Before You Start

  • Update to the latest app version from the App Store or Google Play.
  • Confirm Wi-Fi or cellular data is working in other apps.

Common fixes

Issue Cause Fix
Update Required blocking screen App below minimum version Tap Update Now to open the store and install the update.
Camera or mic not working OS permissions iOS: Settings > Teleprompter. Android: Settings > Apps > Teleprompter > Permissions.
Can’t post / upload fails Network, storage, or server Retry on stable Wi-Fi; free device storage; force-close and reopen.
App feels offline No connectivity Reconnect; pull to refresh on My Scripts.
Crash or freeze on record Low memory or camera conflict Close other camera apps; restart the phone; update iOS/Android.

  1. From My Scripts, open the menu (⋯).
  2. Tap Help & Support, or open About and use Help & Support there.
  3. Email support@socialcascade.co if you cannot access the menu.
