Creating and Managing Scripts

Overview

Scripts are the text you read in the teleprompter. In My Scripts, use the + menu to start a Script Support conversation that drafts a script for you, or create a New Blank Script by typing your own title and body. After a script exists, you can refine it with Script Support while keeping the original. For speaking-style personalization, see Voice Training for Personalized Scripts.

Before You Start

  • Sign in and open My Scripts (home).
  • Scripts belong to the team you have selected; switch teams from the header or menu if you use more than one.
  • For Draft Script, you must have a name or identifier set (during onboarding or under Settings) before generating.

How to create a script

  1. From My Scripts, tap + (create).
  2. Choose one of the following:

Draft Script (generate with Script Support)

  1. Tap Draft Script to open a chat-style flow.
  2. Answer the first question with a short sentence describing what the script should be about.
  3. The app asks up to two follow-up questions so you can add details, angles, or facts.
  4. Type additional context in the composer as needed. A counter shows your topic length (up to 500 characters) and details (up to 8,000 characters combined for context). If you paste a single https:// link, it can be used as a source reference when generating.
  5. When you are ready, tap Draft Script at the bottom to generate. Generation may take a little time; a progress view shows while the script is created.
  6. When generation finishes, the app opens Edit Script with your new script. Practice info from your profile (for example phone or website) may be used when relevant.

New Blank Script (write your own)

  1. Tap New Blank Script.
  2. Enter a title and the full script content.
  3. Tap to create; you are taken to Edit Script for further edits or recording.

How to refine a script

  1. Open a script from the list so you are on Edit Script.
  2. Tap Refine Script to open a sheet where you describe what you want changed.
  3. Describe your changes, then tap Refine Script in the sheet to apply them. Your original script is preserved; refinements create a new version you can keep editing or recording from.
  4. Total refinement instructions are limited to 2,000 characters (combined across your messages). The composer shows how much room remains.

How to manage your script list

  • Search narrows the list as you type.
  • Pull to refresh reloads scripts from the server.
  • Swipe to delete a script. If recordings (“takes”) exist, you may see a stronger confirmation before deletion.
