Video Processing and Review
Overview
After you submit a post, Social Cascade processes your video on the server (encoding, optional captions, branding). You can track progress in the app and get notified when it is ready.
Before You Start
- Stay online; processing happens in the cloud.
- Typical wait times depend on video length. Short clips often finish in about 3–6 minutes; longer ones can take longer (roughly 4–10 minutes or more). Very long sources may take longer.
How to follow progress
- After submit, open Review Video / processing view. You’ll see a progress indicator and status text such as Processing Video.
- On My Scripts, badges may read Processing…, Ready for Review, or Failed. Tap for details.
- When complete, review the finished video on the same screen. You can use Save to Photos / Share or tap Done to return to scripts.
- If you received a push notification for a processed video, open it to jump to review.
- An in-app banner may also appear when a video is ready; tap it to review.
- If something stalls, use Refresh on the processing screen.
Re-posting the same take
If you want another version (different caption or platforms) from the same recording, open the take again from Recordings, adjust the draft, and submit. The app reuses your upload when possible so you don’t have to re-upload the same file.
Troubleshooting

| Processing failed | Server or media issue | Open the failed item; use Retry / Try Again or Contact Support as offered. |
| Progress seems stuck | Heavy load or long source | Wait past the usual window; tap Refresh. If still stuck, contact support. |
| Video not found | Removed on server | Return to scripts and start a new post if needed. |

Q: Can I leave the app while processing?
A: Yes. Processing continues on the server; you may get a notification or badge when it is ready.
