Connecting Your TikTok Account to Social Cascade

Overview

Once you have a TikTok Business Account, you can connect it to Social Cascade to start scheduling and publishing video content. This guide walks you through the connection process.

Before You Start

  • You must have a TikTok Business Account. If you have a Personal Account, see Setting Up a TikTok Business Account to switch.
  • You must be an Admin on the Social Cascade team you want to connect TikTok to.
  • Make sure you know the TikTok login credentials (email/phone and password) for the account you want to connect.

How to Connect Your TikTok Account

  1. Log in to your Social Cascade account at app.socialcascade.co.
  2. Click your avatar in the top-right corner and select Account Settings.
  3. At the top of Settings, select the team you want to connect TikTok to.
  4. In the right pane, find the Social Profiles section.
  5. Click the + Add Profile button (or the plus icon).
  6. Select TikTok from the list of available platforms.
  7. You will be redirected to TikTok to log in and authorize Social Cascade. Grant all requested permissions — if you deny any, publishing and analytics will not work correctly.
  8. After granting permissions, you will be redirected back to Social Cascade. Your TikTok profile will appear in the Social Profiles list.

Tip: If your TikTok profile does not appear after connecting, click the Refresh link in the Social Profiles footer (look for "Missing social profiles? Refresh").

What Happens After You Connect

  • Your TikTok account will appear in the Social Profiles section with a TikTok icon.
  • You can now select TikTok when scheduling posts from the Calendar or publishing from the Teleprompter mobile app.
  • TikTok only supports video posts. You will not be able to select TikTok for image-only content.
  • TikTok posts are manually scheduled only — they will not appear in auto-scheduling. See Scheduling and Publishing TikTok Videos for details.

Troubleshooting

FAQ

Q: Can I connect multiple TikTok accounts?

A: Each team in Social Cascade can connect one TikTok account. If you manage multiple TikTok accounts, connect each one to a separate team.

Q: Do I need to keep my TikTok app installed after connecting?

A: No. The connection is made through TikTok's web authorization. You do not need the app installed on your device to publish through Social Cascade.
