Customizing Your Poster Design

Overview

Posters are branded graphics that Social Cascade generates for your social posts. You can customize the template, colors, practice name, logo, footer text, and more from Settings → Posters. Changes you make here apply to all future auto-generated posters for the selected practice type.

Before You Start

  • Upload a logo or run Brand Kit detection so the poster editor has a logo to display. You can do this from Settings → Brand Kit.
  • Set up your Link in Bio shorthand (the short name that appears in your poster QR code URL). You can configure this on the Posters settings page itself.

How to Choose a Template

  1. Go to Settings → Posters.
  2. On the left panel you will see the Templates gallery. Scroll through the available designs.
  3. If your practice serves multiple patient populations (e.g., Adult and Pediatric), use the dropdown at the top of the gallery to filter templates for each practice type.
  4. Click any template thumbnail to preview it in the main area on the right.
  5. Once you are happy with your selection, click Save to make it your default poster design.

How to Customize Your Poster

Practice Name

The practice name displayed on posters defaults to your team or organization name. To override it for posters only:

  1. Click the practice name text field above the poster preview.
  2. Type your preferred display name.
  3. Click Save to apply.

This custom name persists even if you switch templates.

Color Mode

If you have brand colors set up in your Brand Kit, you can toggle between:

  • Brand Colors — Uses your primary and accent brand colors on the poster background and text.
  • Default — Uses the template designer's original color palette.

Logo

Toggle the logo on or off using the Show logo switch. The logo is pulled from your Brand Kit (uploaded or auto-detected).

Footer Controls

The poster footer shows your Link in Bio URL and QR code. You can:

  • Toggle the footer on or off.
  • Adjust footer opacity for a subtler look.
  • Choose a footer color theme that complements your template.

Text Fields

Some templates have editable text slots (e.g., headline, body). Click on any text field in the editing panel to customize the copy. Longer text that exceeds the available space will be prevented from saving.

Download and Canva

  • Download — Saves the poster as a high-resolution PNG to your device.
  • Open in Canva — Sends the poster to your connected Canva account for advanced editing. See Editing Posters with Canva for setup instructions.

FAQ

Q: Can I use a different poster for each social platform?

A: Currently, the poster design applies across all platforms for the selected practice type. If you have multiple practice types configured, each can have its own template.

Q: Will changing my template affect already-published posts?

A: No. Changing your template only affects future posts. Previously published posters remain unchanged.
