Connecting Your YouTube Channel to Social Cascade

Overview

Connecting YouTube lets Social Cascade schedule and publish YouTube Shorts through our integration partner (Ayrshare). Complete authorization while logged into the Google account that manages your channel—the same channel you publish to from Social Cascade Teleprompter.

Before You Start

  • An active YouTube channel on your Google account.
  • Admin or Editor role on your Social Cascade team (for connecting social accounts).
  • A stable browser session—finish any pending Google security prompts before connecting.

How to Connect YouTube

  1. Open the Social Cascade web app and go to your team's Team Settings or Social accounts area where connected platforms are listed.
  2. Choose Connect (or equivalent) for YouTube.
  3. Complete the Google / YouTube authorization prompts and grant the permissions requested so publishing can work.
  4. Confirm YouTube appears as connected for your team.

Note: Exact menu labels may evolve—use the flow your organization uses for Facebook or Instagram connection if YouTube is grouped similarly.

Publishing from Social Cascade Teleprompter

After YouTube is connected, finish recordings in the teleprompter app and pick YouTube Shorts on the post draft screen—that is the primary path for Shorts today.

After Connecting

  • Verify the correct channel appears when you publish Shorts from Social Cascade Teleprompter.
  • If your organization reconnects Google accounts periodically, revisit Team Settings if publishing stops working.

Troubleshooting

Issue What to try
Authorization fails Retry in an incognito window; confirm pop-ups are allowed; ensure you pick the Google account that owns the channel.
Wrong channel linked Disconnect and reconnect, carefully selecting the intended Google account when prompted.
