- A team admin must connect at least one social profile (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube) in the web app before you can publish from the Teleprompter app.
- Install Social Cascade Teleprompter from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

- Open the avatar menu and choose Account Settings.
- Scroll to Social Profiles and click the + button to connect Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.
- Complete each network’s secure linking flow, then click Close to return to Social Cascade.
- Confirm connected accounts appear as profile cards. You can also check Overview → Social Profiles and tap Manage to return to settings.
Tips from the video:

Step 3: Complete Onboarding
Video timestamp: 4:00
- New users see a short walkthrough. Tap Skip anytime; you can finish later in Settings. Most people finish in under a minute.
- Your name: Enter what patients call you (for example, Dr. Smith or Nurse Kim). AI-drafted scripts use this name.
- Practice info: Confirm your phone number and website match your practice — they may appear in calls to action.
- Voice training (optional): Record a short sample so AI scripts match how you speak. You can skip and add samples later under Settings → Voice Training. Audio is not stored; the app uses speech-to-text only to learn word choices.
- Camera & microphone: Allow access so you can record teleprompter videos.
- Tap through to land on My Scripts (labeled with your name, for example Dr. Smith’s Scripts).

Step 4: Create a Script
Video timestamp: 5:29
From My Scripts, tap the + button in the top right.
Option A — Draft Script (AI help)
- Choose Draft Script.
- Describe your topic in plain English and answer follow-up questions. You can paste a reference link.
- Tap Draft Script and wait a few seconds.
- Edit the script in the editor — scroll the body and change text on screen.
Option B — New Blank Script
- Choose New Blank Script.
- Add a title and paste your script, or use the microphone to dictate.

Step 5: Record with the Teleprompter
Video timestamp: 6:46
- Open a script and choose Record Video.
- Read naturally while looking at the lens — no memorizing or off-camera cards.
- Tap Practice first: text scrolls but nothing is saved. Tap the screen to pause or resume until pacing feels right.
- Use the gear icon (top right) to adjust scroll speed, text size, and opacity.
- When ready, tap Record. After a short countdown, recording starts (up to 3 minutes, aligned with short-form limits on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube).
- Tap Stop to review the preview. Record as many takes as you need — many people record two or three times on their first video.

Step 6: Post, Schedule, or Save to Your Team Stream
Video timestamp: 7:51
- Select the take you want to use and choose Create Post.
- Edit the caption and hashtags.
- Choose whether to burn in captions (recommended for silent autoplay on social feeds). Pick a caption style from the built-in options.
- Select platforms and your post schedule:
- Post now — publishes as soon as cloud processing finishes. Available to admins and editors.
- Schedule — pick a date and time; the app suggests sensible defaults per platform.
- Save to My Stream — sends the video to your team’s content queue on the web app for an admin or editor to review and publish. This is the only publish option for team members who are not admins or editors.
After you submit, the app uploads your take and processes it in the cloud (encoding and burning in captions if selected). Expect roughly 2–3 minutes for a short clip, or up to 6 minutes for a full 3-minute recording. You do not need to wait on the spinner.
On the Finish / Review Video screen, play the final recording, use Save to Photos or Share to keep a copy on your device, then tap Done to return to My Scripts.

Step 7: Find Your Content on the Web
Video timestamp: 9:13
- Sign in at app.socialcascade.co.
- Open Calendar to see videos you created and scheduled.
- Check My Team’s Content to schedule items saved to your stream for later.
Remember: Raw takes stay on your phone under each script’s recordings until you delete them. The processed, publish-ready file is what you review in the app and what Social Cascade sends to your linked social profiles.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| I cannot publish from the Teleprompter app | No social profiles connected for your team | Ask a team admin to connect at least one profile under Account Settings → Social Profiles on the web app. |
| I only see Save to My Stream | Your role is Team Member, not Admin or Editor | That is expected. An admin or editor can publish from the web app queue. See Team Roles in Social Cascade. |
| Facebook or Instagram will not connect | Wrong account type or missing Page access | Facebook: use a personal account with access to the Page. Instagram: use a professional account. |
| Linked profile missing after connecting | Sync delay or permissions | Admin: tap Refresh under Social Profiles in Account Settings. |
| Sign-in code never arrives | Email typo or delivery delay | Confirm the email matches your Social Cascade account. Check spam. See Logging In with Email and a One-Time Code. |
| Video stuck processing | Upload or encoding in progress | Wait a few more minutes. See Video Processing and Review and Troubleshooting the Teleprompter App. |
